Carlos II. [[Italy, Naples & Sicily|Naples]]. AG/A. 1/2 ducado. Rare. MBC-/MBC [very fine]." THis was the only year this denomination was struck at this weight. It was reduced from 14 g (1684). The weight was reduced again to 10.79-11.0 g in 1693. Charles's death in 1700 ended Spanish Hapsburg rule in Italy.
