This specimen was lot 3338 in Goldberg sale 90 (Los Angeles, January 2016), where it sold for $822.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. 50 Dollars, 2013-P. Kookaburra seated on branch. NGC graded Proof 70 Ultra Cameo (One of First 250 Struck)." Since 1989, Australia has entered the bullion and collectibles market in a big way, having produced commemoratives and NCLT's numbering in the hundreds of types.

Recorded mintage: 550.

Specification: 15.55 g, 0.999 gold, 0.50 oz AGW, 25.6 mm diameter.
