This specimen was lot 7075 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $822.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERU. 50 Soles, 1956. NGC MS-65. Tied with two others at this numeric grade with only two certified finer. From the Dr. Michael Popoff Collection." Recorded mintage: 11,000.

Specification: 23.405 g, 0.900 fine gold, .677 troy oz AGW.

Catalog reference: Fr-79; KM-230.
