This specimen was lot 33840 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "British Colony. Victoria 5 Cents 1890-H MS63 NGC, Heaton mint. Commendatory silvery color with full mint brilliance." The type was struck in 1871-1901 and many dates are common but this one is somewhat scarce.
Recorded mintage: 400,000 plus proofs, a fairly scarce date.
Specification: 1.36 g, .800 fine silver, .035 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
