This specimen was lot 1242 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $121. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA, Republic. 1825-present. AR 5 Centavos. Potosí mint. Fortunato Equivar, assayer. Dated 1884/3 PTS FE. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65. Lightly toned gem. Last year of type. Only two of these have been graded and this is by far the finest of the two. Purchased from A. H. Baldwin & Sons, August 1972." This type was struck 1872-84 as part of Bolivia's second decimal coinage. The obverse was modified to show "LA UNION ES LA FUERZA" instead of the previous "LA UNION HACE LA FUERZA".
