This gold twenty soles was minted in Lima in 1960 as a bullion coin, similar to the larger hundred soles. It was lot 28883 and sold on Jan 11, 2011 for $417 at the 2011 January World & Ancient coins Non-Floor Session #3013 by Heritage Auctions. The catalog description reads: "Republic gold 20 Soles 1960, MS66 NGC, an almost perfect coin."
Recorded mintage: 7,753.
Specification: 9.36 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.2709 oz AGW.
