This specimen was lot 3737 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €4,200 (about US$5,661 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REGENSBURG, STADT, 5 Dukaten o. J. mit Titel Josefs II. Slg. Bach (Auktion Künker 238) -. GOLD. Fassungsspuren, sehr schön. (Germany, city of Regensburg, undated quintuple ducat, struck in the name of Joseph II. Mount mark, very fine.)"
Regensburg retained the quaint habit of not dating her coinage, to the annoyance of modern collectors.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 17.45 g, 0.986 fine gold, this specimen 17,08 g.
