This specimen was lot 1069 in Sincona sale 69 (Zurich, May 2021), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$398 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HEILIGES ROMISCHES REICH. Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. 1/2 Taler 1763, Hall. NGC AU50. Hübsche Patina. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, half thaler of 1763, Hall mint. About uncirculated, Attractively toned.)"
Half thalers with the bust of Francis I (KM 2036) were struck 1751-65 at five mints (GR, KB, WI, CA, HA). Half thalers with the bust of Maria Theresia were struck at Hall (shown here) and Vienna without mintmark but with a different central escutcheon on the arms on the reverse.
