This specimen was lot 34817 in Heritage sale 3082 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "Switzerland: Zurich. Canton 1/2 Taler (Gulden) 1794-B MS63 PCGS, Bern mint. A striking example featuring the palm and laurel sprig above the oval arms of Zurich. Very appealing, and currently the finest certified by PCGS." This type was struck 1783, 1786, 1788, 1794, 1798 and is somewhat available. This specimen is supposed to have a "B" mintmaster's mark on the plinth below the shield which we don't see.

Specification: 14.03 g, 0.833 fine silver.
