This specimen was lot 4644 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$580 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Halbdukat 1707, Zürich. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön. Gewellt, gereinigt, Henkelspur. (Switzerland, city and canton of Zürich, half ducat of 1707, Zürich mint. Very rare, Good Very Fine, Wavy planchet, cleaned, mount mark.)"
This rare type is listed for 1707 and 1709. Earlier half ducats, also catalogued as Fr-487 by Friedberg, had "ANNO DOMINI" on the reverse.
