Sincona sale 102, lot 5632

This specimen was lot 5632 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 425 CHF (about US$641 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ. Zürich. Stadt und Kanton. Taler 1665, Zürich. Starker Stempelbruch. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, thaler of 1665, Zürich mint. Heavy die break, Good Very Fine.)"

This type was struck 1661-65 and is common for a Swiss thaler of this period.
