Sincona sale 95, lot 4638

This specimen was lot 4638 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 650 CHF (about US$901 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Halbdukat 1649, Zürich. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, Zürich mint. Very Fine-Extremely Fine.)"

This type was struck 1641, 1645, 1649-51 and 1670-71. Note the reversed "N's".
