Zeeland 1777 6 stuivers

This scheepjesschelling was struck for Zeeland, a province of the Netherlands, 1757-80, 1785 and 1788-93. It is priced fairly low in the SCWC but is seldom seen at American coin shows, particularly in nice condition. These also occasionally turn up struck in gold.

Recorded mintage: 452,261 for 1777-80 but this date is listed as scarce.

Specification: 4.95 g, 0.583 fine silver, .093 troy oz ASW.
