Steve Album sale 51, lot 3376

This specimen was lot 3376 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $54. The catalog description[1] noted, "YUGOSLAVIA: 1 dinar, 1945, a wonderful example, PCGS graded MS64." This type was struck in Belgrade by Tito's forces in 1945 along with a fifty para, two dinara (KM 27) and five dinara (KM 28). In the postwar wreckage, the only available material was zinc. It was demonetized in 1956.

Recorded mintage: 90,000,000.
