This specimen was lot 33733 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "YEMEN. 1/20 Riyal, AH 1382 (1963). Sanaa Mint. PCGS MS-65. Thin planchet variety. This Gem displays a bright and frosty luster, with pleasing details and good overall charm." This type was struck for the newly formed republic of Yemen in 1962-63.
Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
Specification: 0.720 fine silver. The thick planchet variety (KM Y23.1) is 1.1-1.6 g, the thin planchet variety (KM Y23.2) is 0.6-0.9 g.
