This specimen was lot 33356 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $228. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ottoman Empire. Murad IV Uthmani AH 1032 (1623) AU Details (Cleaned) NGC, Sana mint (in Yemen). Lavishly struck on a markedly broad flan with thin, elegant calligraphy not usually found for this mint." This uthmani was struck in Yemen, a province nominally subject to the sultan but another poverty-stricken backwater barely worth the expense of conquest.
