This specimen was lot 33358 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $228. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ottoman Empire. Mehmed IV akçe AH 1058 (1648/9) About XF (flan crack, unevenly struck, lightly cleaned), Amid mint (in Turkey). Characteristically crude, though a rare mint to be sure, even more so as the sultan's name, mint, and date have found themselves fully and legibly imprinted on the flan."
