This specimen was lot 1397 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 700 CHF (about US$1,015 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Württemberg, Grafschaft, 1495 Herzogtum, 1803 Kurfürstentum, 1806 Königreich, Wilhelm I. 1816-1864. Dukat 1840, Stuttgart. Sehr schön. Kratzer. (Germany, kingdom of Württemberg, William I, 1816-64, ducat of 1840, Stuttgart mint. Very Fine, Scratches.)"
This type is recorded for 1840-42 and 1848. Despite the substantial mintage, it is scarce.
