This specimen was lot 56597 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $140. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Wurttemberg. 15 Kreuzer, 1758. Karl Eugen. NGC MS-61." This type was struck 1746-50 and 1758-60. Under the reichsthaler standard, fifteen kreuzer was one sixth thaler or one quarter gulden. Under the convention standard adopted in the mid-eighteenth century, this coin would have been one quarter gulden or one eighth thaler.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
