This specimen was lot 33550 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, "West Friesland. Provincial gold Ducat 1645 MS62 PCGS. Fully mint-state and highly lustrous, this example is currently the second-highest graded at PCGS." Friedberg lists this type for 1607-83.

Recorded mintage: 442,120 for 1643-9.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, .112 troy oz AGW.
