This specimen was lot 73906 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Warwickshire. Birmingham. Brass 1/2 Crown Token, 1788. PCGS AU-53. Obverse: Old man crouching right upon cane, receiving alms from woman kneeling left; child around each of them; Reverse: Cypher." This is a very unusual denomination for a Conder token, which were largely half penny tokens.
