This specimen was lot 1376 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €420 (about US$566 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"WALDECK, GRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1713 FÜRSTENTUM, Carl August Friedrich, 1728-1763. 2/3 Taler 1752, Arolsen. Prägeschwäche, sonst fast vorzüglich. (Germany, principality of Waldeck, Charles Augustus Frederick, 1728-63, two-thirds thaler of 1752, Arolsen mint. Weakly struck, otherwise about extremely fine.)"
This rare issue was accompanied by a thaler (Dav-2839).
Recorded mintage: unknown but rather scarce.
