This specimen was lot 46136 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Waldeck-Pyrmont. 3 Pfennig, 1867-B. Hannover Mint. Georg Victor. NGC MS-64 Red Brown." This one year type is one of the few coins from this postage stamp state that is not exceedingly rare.

Recorded mintage: 420,000.
