This specimen was lot 35123 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "Switzerland: Vaud. Canton 5 Batzen 1830-BEL MS66 NGC. A very crisp and attractive presentation, gem quality throughout, and captivating nebulous opal tones. From the Feeling Good Collection." This type was struck 1826-31 and is fairly common. Five batzen equalled one-eighth thaler. The final issue from this canton was a batzen of 1834.
