From Sincona sale 11, lot 2177

This specimen was lot 2177 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 225 CHF (about US$279 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"NIEDERLANDE Utrecht, Provinz 6 Stüber 1788. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich. (Netherlands, province of Utrecht, six stuivers of 1788, extremely fine.)"

This type was struck starting in 1697 and intermittently all the way thru the eighteenth century. This subtype is noted for 1785-94.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 4.95 g, 0.583 fine silver, .093 troy oz ASW, this specimen 4.84 g.
