This specimen was lot 4135 in Goldberg sale 41 (Beverly Hills, May 2007), where it sold for $661.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Utrecht. Ducat, 1729. Later type. Obv: Knight standing. Reverse: Tablet with legend. From the sunken shipwreck Vlegenthart. Found off the coast of Zeeland struck at the Utrecht mint. NGC graded MS-62." The type is recorded from Utrecht 1702-94; each province of the Netherlands issued its own coins. KM 7.1 covers the hammered issues of 1649-1743 while KM 7.4 covered the milled ducats of 1679-1794.
