Sincona sale 102, lot 5555

This specimen was lot 5555 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$565 including buyers' fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ. Uri. Schilling 1621, Altdorf. Mit Trennung V RANIE. Selten. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Uri, schilling of 1621, Altdorf mint. Rare, Very Fine.)"

This type was struck 1605, 1608-21. Most dates are fairly common in worn condition. One thaler was forty schilling.
