This type, struck 1816-39 in substantial quantities, is available in circulated condition. Many varieties exist and all are avidly collected altho the date is common as a whole. The poster commented, "Small Letters Reverse. Late die state. The fields are flowlined and all 3 of the A's in the reverse legend are filled. Called AU55 and finest known by 10 points in the Noyes census, his photo #21036. Bland also says AU55 and CC#1. PCGS Population 1; none finer.
