Steve Album sale 30, lot 1353
Tuscany SA30-1353r.jpg

This specimen was lot 1353 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $258.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "TUSCANY: Leopoldo II, 2nd reign, 1849-1859, AR 10 quattrini, 1858, NGC graded MS64." These obscure little Italian states coins don't catalog for much but are very difficult to find. This is a one year type. In Tuscany, 40 quattrini = paolo; 10 paolo = 4 fiorini = francescone.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: billon, this specimen 1.93 g.

Catalog reference: Cr-67.
