This specimen was lot 33689 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $456. The catalog description[1] noted, "British Colony. Elizabeth II silver Proof Piefort "Year of the Child" 10 Crowns 1982-CHI PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC, Valcambi mint. From a mintage of just 400 pieces, a near flawless representative with blazing white surfaces and a deeply frosted portrait of Elizabeth." Several other coins of this denomination were issued in 1982. Very little circulation coinage exists for these islands southeast of the Bahamas.

Recorded mintage: 7,928 proofs plus 400 pieforts.

Specification: 28.28 g, 0.925 fine silver.
