This specimen was lot 1440 in Goldberg Sale 137 (Los Angeles, January 2024), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "Turkey-Ottoman Empire. Sultani, AH931 (1525). Suleiman I, 1520-1566 (926-974 AH). Pop 1; The only one graded at PCGS. PCGS graded EF-45." The auctioneers did not attribute this coin to a particular mint. Sultanis, the Turkish version of the ducat, were struck all over the Ottoman empire during Suleiman's reign. In later centuries, minting was restricted to Istanbul.
