This specimen was lot 2415 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $90. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Mahmud II, 1808-1839, AV ½ cedid mahmudiye, Kostantiniye, AH1223 year 32, ex-mount, EF-AU." This half cedid mahmudiye was struck years 26-32. It has a low catalog value because of its tiny size, irrespective of its rarity.

Specification: 0.70-0.80 g, gold, this specimen 0.79 g.
