Regierungsjahr, Münzstätte und Jahr des Regierungsanfangs in gleichartiger Fassung wie im Av. Selten. Sehr schön. Flaue Stellen. Kleiner Randfehler. (Turkey, Mahmud II, 1808-39, two kurush of AH 1223, year 15, Constantinople mint. Rare, Very fine, Weakly struck areas, Small edge nick.)"
This two kurush was part of the fifth issue of silver during this reign. These coins are dated years 15-16. The reform of the next reign would stabilize the coinage until the collapse of the Ottomans at the end of World War One.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
