This specimen was lot 431 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $390. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Abdul Hamid I, 1774-1789, AV 1½ altin, Islambul, AH1187 year 8, pierced, bold VF, ex Ahmed Sultan Collection." This denomination was issued in various forms (KM 423, 424, 425, 426, 427) years 1 thru 16. These coins are scarce but many specimens do not realize their proper value. Nearly all the survivors are ex-jewelry and are either holed (as here) or mounted.
