Turkey AH 1031 akce
This specimen was lot 33355 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ottoman Empire. Mustafa I (2nd Reign) akçe AH 1031 (1622) MS62 NGC, Novabirda mint (in Kosovo). Though indicated to be slightly less rare tha[n] the akçes of his first reign by Album, this gorgeous near choice emission from Mustafa's brief 2-year second reign appears undocumented in both Pere and the Standard Catalog of World Coins." The SCWC documents only a coin called an omluk from this brief reign, which from the reported weight was probably worth eight akçe.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
