This specimen was lot 43571 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY. 25 Kurush, 1923 Year 43 (1965). Istanbul Mint. PCGS MS-66." This type was struck years 20 and 27-79 (1941-2002) as a bullion coin. It is not known circulated.
Recorded mintage: 90,000.
Specification: 1.80 g, 0.917 fine gold, 0.0517 troy oz AGW.
