This specimen was lot 4055 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $450. The catalog description[1] noted, "TUNISIA: AR 20 francs, 1953/AH1373 (a), low mintage of 303 pieces, choice XF." This type was struck in small numbers 1945-55 for presentation by the Bey. As such, the SCWC consigns it to the catalog of Unusual World Coins. This issue was struck to the standard of the French twenty francs of 1935-36 but bears no mark of value.
