The specimen shown was lot 1253 in Sedwick sale 11 (Winter Park, FL, April 2011), where it sold for $517.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "India (Danish), Tranquebar, 2 fano (2 royaliner / 2 fanams), Frederik VI, 1816, rare two-year type. 2.5 grams. Choice VF with attractive light toning, good details but edge crude (as made)." The SCWC lists this rare type as copper but the specimen appears to be silver or at least billon. The Danish fort at Tranquebar was sold to the British in 1845.
