This specimen was lot 53503 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $7,500. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Tibet. 20 Srang, BE 15-53 (1919). PCGS Genuine--Rim Damage, AU Details Gold Shield. Variety without dot in the center of the reverse. A coin with pleasing dark honey golden tone, overall sharp detail, and one strike weakness near the periphery at 2 o'clock. Also in this area is some minor damage to the rim, which does not intrude on the design elements." One srang = 6-2/3 tangka = 10 sho. This type is listed for 1918-21 with many varieties.
