This specimen was lot 78609 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "THAILAND. 2 Att, CS 1249 (1887). Hamburg Mint. Rama V. NGC AU-58." This type was also struck RS 109 and RS 114-124 at Hamburg, Heaton and Bangkok. It is common in circulated condition. Sixty four att made a baht, and five baht equalled seven Indian rupees. The slide in the price of silver forced the regime to devalue the baht, and in 1902, one pound sterling = 21.75 baht.
