This specimen was lot 1378 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $1,440. The catalog description[1] noted, "THAILAND: Rama VI, 1910-1925, 10 satang, BE2457 (1914), fantastic luster with superb surfaces, a lovely example! NGC graded MS66, ex The 1914 Collection. Finest graded at NGC and PCGS." After Thailand converted to decimal coinage, one hundred satang made a baht. One, five, ten satang and one baht were struck at Brussels in BE 2457. The date is shown as "๒๔๕๗" above the hole on the reverse. This type was struck RS 127-131 and BE 2456-2480.
