This specimen was lot 30681 in Heritage sale 3040 (Chicago, April 2015), where it sold for $1,292.50. This current offering is essentially pristine and boasts highly glossy surfaces surrounding frosty devices. A delightful issue with a small mintage of just 300 pieces. Later ones are strictly collector items with no face value and should be classed as medals, not coins. They are not listed in the regular SCWC.

Recorded mintage: 6,000 plus 200 specimens.

Specification: 25 g, 0.900 fine silver, 38 mm diameter.
