This specimen was lot 76378 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Rappen, 1906-B. Bern Mint. PCGS MS-65 Red." This type was struck at the Bern mint 1893-1941. The design was superseded by KM 4.2b, struck 1942-46, and KM 47, struck 1948-74. The denomination is no longer issued. Many of the dates from the twentieth century are very common but this one is somewhat scarce.

Recorded mintage: 500,000.

Specification: 2.5 g, bronze, 20 mm diameter, plain edge.
