This specimen was lot 74746 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. 5 Francs, 1874-B.. Brussels Mint. PCGS MS-62. Variety with dot after 'B'. A stunning 5 Franc piece with mottled olive and ashen toning. The details are quite strong and display only the light marks expected from a near-Choice example." This type was struck 1850-51 and 1873-74. The SCWC notes that the coins with the dot added were struck at Brussels; these earn a slight premium.

Specification: 25 g, 37 mm diameter, 0.900 fine silver.
