This specimen was lot 58536 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. 5 Rappen, 1873-B. Bern Mint. NGC MS-65." This is a somewhat scarce date of a type issued 1850-51, 1873-77. The type is not rare but is seldom seen compared to the copper-nickel Helvetia type (KM 26) issued 1878-1980. It is accompanied by billon ten and twenty rappen.

Specification: billon.
