This specimen was lot 3814 in Sincona sale 70 (Zürich, May 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Confederation. 10 Rappen 1871 B, Bern. NGC MS64. (Switzerland, ten rappen of 1871, Bern mint, choice uncirculated.)"
This is a somewhat scarce date of a type issued 1850-51, 1871-76. The type is not rare but is seldom seen compared to the copper-nickel Helvetia type (KM 27) issued 1878-1980.
Recorded mintage: 844,000.
Specification: billon, 2.37 g, 19.23 mm diameter.
