This specimen was lot 31842 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $117.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Oscar II 5 Ore 1906, MS65 Brown NGC. A choice example with glossy tan surfaces. Struck after the independence of Norway." This type of 1906-07 is common in all grades. This denomination remained 8 g until 1971 and was retired in 1984.
