Stack's Bowers October 2021 Collector's Choice sale, lot 72397

This specimen was lot 72397 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Krona, 1906-EB. Stockholm Mint. Oscar II. NGC MS-62. An attractive example of this two-year type displaying lovely, mottled patina with richer coloration on the reverse. The surfaces are relatively smooth offering much originality and a pleasing appearance." This two year type is fairly common.

Recorded mintage: 426,939.

Specification: 7.5 g, 0.800 fine silver, 25 mm diameter.
