This specimen was lot 1494 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $381.88. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN: Oscar II, 1872-1907, AV 20 kronor, 1902, initials EB, Unc, Ex Dr. John Lund Collection." This type was struck 1900-1902 in large quantities. Not released at the time, large numbers were dispersed in the 1990's so that high grade specimens are readily available for a price. The last gold twenty kronor was minted in 1925.

Recorded mintage: 113,810.

Specification: 8.96 g, 0.900 fine gold, .259 troy oz AGW.
