This specimen was lot 31846 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $176.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Oscar II 25 Ore 1883-EB, MS66 NGC. Flecked russet toning dominates both sides of this gem Uncirculated example." This date is common up thru XF but scarce compared to later dates. The type was issued 1874, 1880-1905. Twenty-five öre were struck in billon until 1961 and the denomination was retired in 1984.

Recorded mintage: 1,100,000.

Specification: 2.42 g, 0.600 fine silver, 17 mm diameter.
